What Happens if You’re Injured While Riding in a Lyft or Uber? - law-stl

It is highly convenient to be able to summon a ride in minutes from your phone. When you do so, you expect to arrive safely to your destination – and not arrive at the emergency room with injuries instead. However, Uber and Lyft drivers can be involved in accidents like anyone else, and passengers can sustain serious injuries as a result. In addition to car accidents, rideshare passengers can be at risk of injuries caused directly by the driver. Even though drivers are required to pass background checks, some rideshare passengers become the victims of assault during their ride.
